Tour Plan

Day 01 Starting

An exciting journey begins as your flight takes off to Srinagar. Upon your arrival, the agent’s representative will escort you to the houseboat/hotel. Enjoy the post-noon leisure. Experience the uniquely beautiful Dal Lake sunset riding on the Shikaras in the evening. Overnight stay at the Deluxe Houseboats.

Day 02 Reach Kargil

Enjoy the morning tea and breakfast and head off to an exhilarating road trip to Leh via Kargil as you pass through the panoramic views to reach Sonmarg (2740 mtrs). The road, though broken and rough, is enjoyable and leads to snow-covered Gateway of Ladakh aka Zojila pass (3527 mtrs). Further, you'll stop by at Drass, (the second coldest inhabited place in the world) for refreshments and passport scrutiny. You'll reach Kargil late in the evening where you’ll spend the night in a cozy camp.

Day 03 Kargil-Leh

A day's drive on serpentine roads as you ascend through a few passes. On the way, visit the first Buddhist village - Mulbek where the giant statue of Maitreya Buddha is believed to have naturally existed. En route, you cross the highest pass (Fotula Pass- 4166 meters) & reach Lamayuru village. Stop by for lunch and visit Lamayuru oldest Monastery. Continue driving to Leh via village Basgo, Nimu & enjoy the confluence of Zanskar & indus river. Reach Leh (3500 meters) in the evening. Comfortable overnight stay at Leh.

Travel Time (Kargil to Leh via Sham Valley): 8-10 hours

Day 04 Homestay at Chuchot Village

Morning breakfast & then a day for leisure & local sightseeing. Postnoon, a half-day tour to Spituk and Shanker Gompa. Later, enjoy the beautiful sunset at Shanti stupa (Japanese pagoda) from where, one can view whole city of Leh. A visit to Thiksey Monastery & Stok Village. You can walk the village upto base of Stok kangri (upto one's caliber) & enjoy an overnight stay in Chushot.

Day 05 Leh to Nubra via Khardungla Pass

After an early breakfast, drive towards beautiful Nubra Valley via Khardungla pass (highest motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft) & reach Hundar village. On arrival at Nubra Valley, check-in to your camp. In the afternoon, you may enjoy the beauty of Sand Dune riding on the double-hump camel. Overnight stay at the camp.

Travel Time (Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La): 4 Hours

Day 06 Other Benefits (On Arrival)

Day 6 begins with an early morning visit to Diskit monastery. Capture the best shots of Nubra valley Later, drive off to Sumoor village and then back to Leh via the same trail of Khardung village and Khardung La. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Day 07 Leh - Thiksey - Pangong Lake

Post breakfast, start your journey to the enchanting Pangong lake via Thiksey monastery and Shey. Upon arrival, enjoy the turquoise colour of the panoramic lake surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of nature and the magnificent mountains. Check-in to the camp and spend a cozy night.

Day 08 Back to Leh

Lazy beginning to the day with a late breakfast, you may stroll around the lake and feel mother nature as it soothes you. Later, drive back to Leh visiting Thiksey monasteries en route and Shey Palace, in case you missed it the day before. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 09 Leisure Day (Rafting Optional)

After a late, delicious breakfast, walk downtown and explore the city market and other attractions of Leh. One can go rafting to experience some adventure and thrill at the Indus-Zanskar confluence. Post dinner, an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10 Fly back to your city
